I'm looking for a travel/vacation companion to Baja California - no particular place in Baja in
mind, although my vision is someplace relatively secluded, or a small town or city, on or near a beach, relaxing but with some hiking, snorkeling, etc. options. I'd like to share a condo or other vacation rental with someone. I'm semi-retired, and also want to see if Baja is a reasonable place to retire in. Although I'm mainly looking for a friend, something more intimate would be a nice surprise. I'm a contractor, specializing in telephone/ethernet wiring and consulting. I've been self-employed since 1986, and although I like what I do, it's getting close to hanging up the shingle. I do moderate gym workouts nearly every day (so I'm in kinda sorta decent shape), and enjoy opera, classical music, and live theater.

Thinking hard over life itself, getting to be a long one now of living in the wildlands without a
whole lot of gay male companionship. I'm deeply integrated into this remote rural community of ranchers and artists and retired professors who (mostly) don't care if I'm gay but take the attitude "He may be a queer cowboy, but he's OUR queer cowboy." I'm granted housing on this outfit in my retirement and put lots of time into the garden here that has maybe the most beautiful view of any in all the Southwest & I sure love to share it. Looking for the rural life with one man who rejects modern society and don't mind chopping wood for

I reject the "Gay" Lifestyle, the "Gay" Flag, the "Gay" political agenda. PERIOD
The ideal place for me to retire would be Fort Davis, TX on the Davis Mountains; a few acres, single/double wide mobile home, sheds turned into an office and/or tack room, a barn, solar power with battery back up and a rain catchment system. A garden and a few fruit/nut trees and a few chickens. Living as self sufficiently as possible, having outside work to do to stay healthy and in shape and being outdoors. Knowing that friendship and companionship lasts while sex fades, keeps me focused on finding a simple life with like minded men.
